OUR TEAM

Joshua  J. Gaboton, Founder and President

Joshua J. Gaboton founded the firm after more than 20 years of experience working in congress and the private sector in the nation’s capital. During his tenure in Capitol Hill, Mr. Gaboton was under the leadership of former Chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, John L. Mica. He served as a Senior Policy Advisor to Chairman Mica and advised the Chairman on issues involving the federal budget, appropriations, and transportation policy, as well as the Homeland Security, Department of Defense, Education, Communications, Veterans’ Affairs, Housing, Coastal Restoration and Water Resources.

Following his successful period in the public sector, Mr. Gaboton served as a Principal and Partner respectively at two established federal relations consulting and public affairs firms in Washington, where he accrued impressive records of securing federal funds and programmatic victories for municipalities, non-profit, and private sector clients nationwide.

Mr. Gaboton has in-depth knowledge of transportation policy. He works extensively with the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Senate Environment and Public Works, and the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committees. As a result, he has developed excellent working relationships with the chairmen and ranking members of these respective committees, as well as other members of congress and staff on key house and senate committees. These ongoing working relationships have been a significant advantage to firm clients interested in the development of transportation initiatives at the federal, state, and local levels.

In addition to his work in congress, Mr. Gaboton lobbies the Executive Branch on issues such as law enforcement technology, transportation and port infrastructure, defense contracting, education, economic and community development, housing, water resources and coastline restoration, including veterans’ job-training, and homelessness assistance initiatives.

During this “non-earmark” period, Mr. Gaboton’s prolific relationships with key administration officials have yielded significant results for both public and private sector clients.

Mr. Gaboton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of Central Florida.
